“My parents got a divorce when I was only six. I mean it was only elementary school, but my grades went down, which doesn’t really matter right now, but it put me in distress for a little bit even though I was really young. I didn’t really understand what was happening until like two years after. I didn’t see my dad as much and by then he had moved to Saudi Arabia. I see him like once every two years. I realize that my dad wasn’t really the best parent, but I have a stepdad now who’s a lot better, and I think I’m a better person because of that.”
